Located just south of Anchorage, the Kenai Peninsula is known by many as Alaska’s playground. There are few places in the world that offer such a diverse array of natural beauty. There is truly something to satisfy every nature lover’s appetite. Unlike most of Alaska, the wonders of South Central are traversable by vehicle, which can be easily rented in Anchorage or the town of Kenai. There are roads to a majority of the beloved spots in the region, which makes the Kenai Peninsula unique to the rest of the state.
Alaska Fish On Charters is a highly profitable Alaskan lodge and charter business and the opportunity to own a lodge business of this magnitude and prestige is very unique. The owners, Gary and Darlene Kernan, have spent over 20 years perfecting their network of fishing destinations and training their guides and staff. The lodge is truly a profitable and turnkey offering for the next owner.

After graduating from college, Matt and his wife, Chelsea, moved to Alaska where he worked as a high school teacher and fishing guide during the summers. During his ten-year guiding career, Matt spent thousands of days in the backcountry of Alaska where he would often see more bears than people in a day. These trips taught him the value of relationships and trust as he and his clients relied on each other to keep themselves safe from the dangers associated with the Alaska wilderness. Along with guiding, Matt worked closely with dozens of lodge owners on the Kenai Peninsula to offer the best possible experiences for their clients. He learned the lodge business well and knows the level of commitment and hard work it takes to be successful.
